I’ve really enjoyed hosting the CfEY podcast over the last couple of years, and wanted to put my own podcast together from scratch: something local, and outside my usual comfort zone of youth and education. So back in the summer of 2019 I asked my local museum in Worthing if I could make a podcast about the wonderful work they do. They said yes, and the Worthing Museum Podcast was born!
The podcast series goes behind the scenes at the museum during the brilliant Female Voices exhibition, which runs from October 2019 to February 2020. Each episode explores a different aspect of the work that goes on in the museum, and the people who make it happen. Throughout the series, I focus on the women who have played a key role in the museum’s story.
Eventually there will be four episodes. Here’s where I’m up to so far:
You can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes, Spotify and Google.
When I wrote the podcast’s theme music, I decided to build it on a musical cryptogram, which can be decoded if you start the alphabet on middle C and follow the letters in sequence using only the white notes.
